IMCOM-PAC Workforce and Human Resources: Case Study

Situation

The leadership of IMCOM-PAC requested workforce and human resources SME support to analyze and evaluate the region’s recruitment and retention programs. The organization was experiencing difficulties in attracting, hiring and retaining top talent, so the focus was placed primarily on its mid to senior level occupations. The goal was to identify problematic issues, evaluate their situation and propose effective recommendations for improvement, in the form of a comprehensive and executable Recruitment and Retention Plan.

Solution

Working as part of a larger team, the Golden Key Group’s SME’s visited various locations within IMCOM-PAC in order to better understand the situation and learn first hand about the recruiting and retention challenges each location faced. The team provided a detailed analysis of their findings, then developed and delivered an in-depth, comprehensive plan which identified corrective measures to be taken, and provided benchmarks to measure improvement.

What we deliver

  • Producing a Management Plan to provide the “road map” of target dates and deliverables to be achieved
  • Detailed data analysis of IMCOM-PAC’s current recruitment and retention trends and potential challenges
  • White Paper outlining recruiting and retention best practices currently used by both public and private sectors, that could cross over to address the issues faced by IMCOM-PAC
  • A ten step plan of executable, corrective actions designed to assist IMCOM-PAC in meeting their short and long term recruiting and retention goals

Our keys to success

The team quickly established trust and rapport with IMCOM-PAC’s leadership and stakeholders. Traveling from location to location our team immediately identified both location unique and universal challenges that IMCOM-PAC faced in accomplishing its Recruiting and Retention mission. Applying real-life experience and best practices, the team was able to develop and deliver to IMCOM-PAC a plan of action that was easily executable and designed to meet the goals of the organization.

Results
